Don Ackerman, one of the earliest UB missionaries in Honduras, passed away July 9 at age 87. He and his wife, Leora, went to La Ceiba, Honduras, in 1949 and served until 1958. They then settled in Des Moines, Iowa, where they helped found the Patricia Park UB church. One chapter in the book Tio Archie tells about their service in Honduras.
