Church Consultations

To help churches move forward, Healthy Ministry Resources uses an intensive tool called the church consultation. It is demanding. Churches must be willing to pay a steep price--in effort, honest self-evaluation, accountability, and willingness to change. Church consultations include the following:

• Significant preparation beforehand by the church.
• Pat Jones, the Director of Healthy Church Ministries, assembles a team of several ministries, and leads the weekend consultation at the church. During this time, the pastor and church leaders are forced to take an honest look at themselves.
• A course of action is developed.
• Pat makes an on-site visit to the church every month for a year.

Other Services

In addition, Healthy Ministry Resources helps churches in many other ways:

• Setting vision.
• Providing resources for specific ministries (children, youth, etc.).
• Training leaders.
• Managing conflict.
• Governance systems.
• Finding a new pastor.
• And much more.

Healthy Ministry Resources also oversees the United Brethren cluster system. Every UB church and every pastor must participate in a cluster.
