2009 US National Conference

The next US National Conference is fast approaching. The planning committee has been meeting for the last nine months, and now things are kicking into high gear.

Most details will come later in the year. Here's what we've got for now:

Date

June 4-7, 2009 (Thursday through Sunday morning). Registration will start around noon. The conference will officially kick-off with an evening service at 7 p.m.

Location

We're going back to Saw Mill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio. This is the same place we met in 2007.

Business Session

Friday will be devoted to conference business. The delegates for the business session include:

• All national conference licensed ministers currently employed in a ministry position in the United Brethren denomination.
• At least one layperson from each United Brethren church in the United States. The total number of delegates is based on a formula in the Discipline. Basically, churches get one lay delegate for each 150 persons in average attendance.
